Ehrlund Acoustic Pickup (EAP) är en linjär kontaktmikrofon för instrument med en akustisk ljudbox som gitarr, fiol, kontrabas och etno-instrument.

En linjär mikrofon betyder att pickupen återger ett platt frekvenssvar. EAP Pickup fångar vibrationerna i det akustiska instrumentet, vilket gör att mikrofonen kan leverera mycket bra separation även i normalt ”omöjliga” miljöer där de andra musikerna genererar höga ljudnivåer på sina respektive instrument. EAP Pickup har uppnått mycket goda resultat i testframträdanden, även med opassande kombinationer som Heavy Metal och cello.

Varje instrument är unikt och att hitta rätt plats för bästa ljud är en fråga om försök och misstag. EAP Pickup är lätt att flytta runt mellan olika instrument. Den är enkel att fästa på ljudlådan med självhäftande kitt. Du kan till och med montera pickupen på insidan av instrumentet genom ljudhålet. The Ehrlund Acoustic Pickup (EAP) is a linear contact microphone for instruments with an acoustic sound box such as the guitar, violin, double bass and ethno-instruments.

A linear microphone means the pickup reproduces a flat frequency response. The EAP Pickup captures the vibrations in the acoustic instrument, which enables the microphone to deliver very good separation even in normally “impossible” environments where the other musicians are generating high sound levels on their respective instruments. The EAP Pickup has achieved very good results in test performances, even with incongruous combinations such as Heavy Metal and cello.

Every instrument is unique and finding the right location for the best sound is a matter of trial and error. The EAP Pickup is easy to move around between different instruments.It is simple to attach to the sound box with adhesive putty. You can even mount the pickup on the inside of the instrument through the sound hole. You can buy the EAP Pickup separate, or in a set EAP SYSTEM together with the Preamp.
