If you’re looking for a conga with a more raw, almost ’tribal’ like sound, then this Meinl Artist Series Signature Conga might be what you’re looking for! Designed in collaboration with renowned percussionist William ”Kachiro” Thompson, the conga is made of exotic New Zealand Pine Wood spruce. The conga comes with a Remo Skyndeep calfskin skin, giving the conga a healthy dose of musical overtones and resonance, inviting creative playing. The beautiful Blue Wave finish with subtle sparkle also makes the conga look great in combination with the chrome-plated hardware.
