Listening to noise can be extremely calming. That’s why a walk on the beach is so relaxing, and the same goes for a shower – as long as you don’t have to be outside yourself. But yes, those sounds of nature, all well and good, but not everyone has a beach in the pantry, and rain is not always predictable. Fortunately, there are musical instruments for that, like the Meinl Sonic Energy Rainmaker, available in several colours and lengths – a longer length corresponds to a longer rainstorm. A very appropriate instrument for meditation and yoga, then, especially since the larger rainsticks in particular produce quite a big shower.
