This hefty Meinl Percussion Traditional Series Tumba has a diameter of 12.5 inches, a height of 30 inches and delivers a full, round sound with quite a bit of projection and plenty of overtones. These sound qualities come from the combination of the authentic Remo Black Calfskin Skyndeep calfskin skin, with the tumba’s two-ply Siamese oak shell. The skin is held in place by the 8 mm Strong Tuning tension blocks and the 5 mm Traditional TTR tension edges. The tumba has a beautiful high-gloss Wine Red finish, black powder-coated hardware and comes with a height-adjustable Steely II conga stand and various practical accessories!
